Alright, took a little longer than I hoped, but I am finally done with my second bank of presets - Dance & Electronic Sounds Volume 2. It includes 64 presets that span range of electronic styles - primarily trance, but lots of other stuff too, like dnb, breakbeat, big beat, and even some ambient & new age. Like volume 1, the patches are intended to be as usable as possible with little editing and are designed for maximum playability. This time around I focused a little more on complex patches, including physical modeling, so users of volume 1 can expect a variety of fresh sounds, not just more of the same.

Some very nice sounds in the demo. To the extent that I asked myself why I didn't own vol #1. Tried to get it from your site, and found the Paypal link all screwed up ('unable to decrypt'). So, I guess I'll wait a while longer.

Hmm, sorry about that. I'm not sure why the link is screwed up there, but I've revised my store to include the presets as one of the items (last item there) and amended the link on the news post. The "Buy Now" button on the store page should work.

Haha, well if this makes any sense, the price of $10 in and of itself is a sort of discount. Initially I was going to sell it for $15 like the first one, even though this bank took about 4x as much time. I then thought it might be a good idea to sell the bundle for $25 of vol 1 + 2 if people bought them both at once. But then I realized that wouldn't be fair to the people who first bought it. So I ended up just lowering it by $5 for everyone across the board.

Vol. 1 is just as it claims to be: "Dance/Electronic". And though folks have said in another thread that it seems pointless to generate these kinds of sounds from Zebra2, I have to disagree.

First and foremost, because the synth is so excellent, it does the juddering saws and bloopy basses really well. At $15, getting some good presets of this sort is simply an investment in convenience.

Second, because some of these presets are quite amazing. The Imposcar imitation is an example.

Zircon's own music is pretty good, judging by the samples on his website, and he designs sounds for Zebra2 that are in the same kind of mood. I don't do a lot of 'dancey' music, but when I do, I want it to sound as lively as possible.

The presets are now available for purchase. As usual, tas did some amazing work with the x/y programming and volume tweaks. Hope everyone enjoys 'em!

I would like to mention that I am selling these for $15 - not $10 as I originally planned. Evaluating my current financial situation, and the amount of work I put into it, combined with Paypal fees, I decided that pricing the bank at $15 like the first one is reasonable.
