Hi Urs.

I've encountered a problem with FilterscapeVA in Renoise. I load up a preset, sequence a few notes, play the sequence once, stop, play again, and there's just silence... the sound return when loading a new preset (or the same preset). But if I stop, and play again, there's silence once again...

It's been a while since I last loaded up FilterscapeVA, but I've had it running in Renoise 1.8 before, so the only other source of the problem I can think of (besides a bug in FilterscapeVA) is the recent install of MFM2 (a pre-ordered version)...? I'll post this bugreport at the Renoise forum aswell, just in case it's a Renoise problem

It's probably an accidental midilearn... (the new prevention code is obviously not in yet)

Delete

MacOSX: MacHD/Library/Application Support/u-he/com.u-he.Filterscape.midimap.txt

It might also be an obscure Renoise bug. Similar things have happened before.

If it's not accidental MIDI-Learn, turn off 'Auto-Suspend' in the VST config box to see if that helps.

Urs, I tried deleting the com.u-he.Filterscape.midimap.txt file. And I tried codefox's tip, but neither changed anything.. the problem persists.. I'll wait and see what the Renoise-guys think of this.

So far I'm unable to reproduce. I've let the pattern play for 2 minutes looped, I've used in-pattern loops, started, stopped several times, stopped, moved up a few lines, hit 'play from current line' key.

If you do the above, it eventually just cuts out on you? Or is there a specific way you make it happen?

PS: Groovy synth line.

This is so weird.. I load the song, start play, let it run for a few tracks, stop, hit play again, and no sound... re-select the preset, and it runs again... but only untill I press stop again.

I dont have problems with any of my other vsti's.. and there's no problem with the 2 Filterscape VST plugs either.. just the VA. So strange...

It's com.u-he.FilterscapeVA.midimap.txt, not com.u-he.Filterscape.midimap.txt

Or just...

reboot - delete all of these - start host to check it out
