Hi,

I'm new to EVE and after a while messing around with I cam to the point of wanting to do my own preset and change what is already in the .bnk file. So I first duplicate the original .bnk file to not overwrite them but then I realise that there was no save bank button just a save default bank option. I must be missing something, are you guys using the application fxb save mechanism or there is a way inside EVE to create/save/manage .bnk file?

Thanks.

Hi frankbou,

Sorry for the delayed replay.

Here are the instructions to create your own EVE bnk file (taken from the manual):

-----
If you want to create your own presets in the internal '.bnk' format, first save them using the standard VST '.fxb' format. Then, load this bank in EVE 2 and save it as the 'User-Default' bank. Now, in the location of your EVE_2_FULL.dll there is also an EVE_2_FULL.bnk file. Rename this as you wish and move it to your 'EVE Banks' folder which is located in your 'EVE Data' folder.
-----

Please let me know if this works for you, or if you need further assistance.

Best,

Paul.

I have to admit that I haven't red the manual :(

Ok, so it seems that it is a lot easier to manage the setup through an .fxb file than with the .bnk. I guess being a Wusikstation user as well, I though at first that there might be a integrated preset manager that I was missing, but I guess there isn't.

Thanks.
