A few Luna questions/requests...

Does Luna currently support Rewire? If not, any plans in adding it's support in the near future? Also, what about the possibility of a bouncing of all audio tracks separately (rather than as one file). I really do like the simplicity of Luna and these are the only things I would need from it in order to utilize it as my main DAW.
Thanks.
Thanks.

The possibility is there, but there is no timeline yet.If not, any plans in adding it's support in the near future?
Note that you can mixdown per track manually:Also, what about the possibility of a bouncing of all audio tracks separately (rather than as one file). I really do like the simplicity of Luna and these are the only things I would need from it in order to utilize it as my main DAW.
-> Select all parts of track 1, mixdown to file 1
-> Select all parts of track 2, mixdown to file 2
-> Select all parts of track 3, mixdown to file 3
...
This takes a bit more work, but at least it is possible!
Anyway, i've added your request to the whish list.

Mmm... and when we get "Mixdown Internal" back (heh), having each track's parts mixed to new separate tracks would be neat, too. But later...

It's been a bit now and I know that Mu.Lab has been updted recently. Has any of these features been added? Rewire support is not that necessary since I "theoretically" can use Jack to do the same thing, but the track bounce feature "without" having to do all that work would be great.muzycian wrote:Not yet.Remedial wrote:Does Luna currently support Rewire?

1) ReWire support will not yet be for the next version. Otherwise the next version would take longer, which is not what we want.
But the good news is that Propellerheads approved ReWire support for MU.LAB and we have been exchanging the formalities already.
So it's getting in the pipeline
2) That 'Mixdown All Tracks Individually' function is not yet implemented.
I agree it's a handy super-function, but please do understand that it's functionality is already there (as described earlier in this thread), it only takes a couple of extra mouse clicks, so to say. And those extra mouse clicks are not at a functional point that you use every minute, imho.
At this point, there are still more important items to be worked on. Please don't interprete this as i'm saying your suggestion is unimportant, because it IS a nice request which is added to the whishlist; But it's not yet at the top of that whishlist. Hope i express myself well.

Very nice. I have Reason and it's great but Reason lack of audio recording and VST support. All Reason needs is a simple but effective audio/midi sequencer with Rewire support, and Mulab will be this ideal companion...1) ReWire support will not yet be for the next version. No, I understand you totally. I'll wait patiently. But let me go ahead and throw OMF support in there as another on the long list of wants and wishes.muzycian wrote:1) ReWire support will not yet be for the next version. Otherwise the next version would take longer, which is not what we want.
