I have just optimised the control I have over the receptor for live mixing purposes and bought a Kenton control freak studio controller. within half an hour I had programmed it to the parameters required. There is a bit of RTM required but not that much I'd recomend this piece of kit to anyone. You can find more info on them at

I'm using it as a mixer for live purposes, eg the receptor is triggered from an old Elka CR 99 m.i.d.i. disk recorder. The CR99 m.i.d.i. out is connected to the kenton control freak m.i.d.i. in and the m.i.d.i. out from the control freak is connected to the Receptor m.i.d.i. in. eg programme 1/ I can alter the amplitude of each seperate channel, programme 2/ I can alter the pan settings on each channel, 3/ I can mute tracks and bring tracks back in as required no latency, it's really good pice of kit.jahfume wrote:Could you elaborate on how you are using the Kenton contoller?
I mean like, within your typical set-up or application.
Thanks.
