Newb here. Running Rev C Receptor w/ Komplete 4 inside. DAW is Cubase SX3 driven by mLAN via Yamaha O1X.
My understanding of uniwire is that; when it is enabled, the "Enable Receptor Audio + MIDI I/O" box is unchecked, & the "Bypass Midi Filter on single channels" is checked; each individual channel should conform to whatever midi I/O is present in Cubase.
I set up a project with 16 midi tracks set to midi channels 1 thru 16, assigned my Triton (set to external sounds) as input, assigned uniwire as output, & set the uniwire instrument to accept midi on all Receptor channels & loaded the "Snapshot" mult.
What I found was that midi in for channels 1 & 2 on the mixer GUI were grayed out & assigned to midi channels 1 & 2 as expected. All the other mixer channels however were blue & assigned to midi channel 1. It was simple enough to open the midi filter & correct the assignments but I don't believe I should be seeing a mixture of active & inactive midi filters based on the settings I've chosen. Am I wrong? I dunno but I'm definitely
Thanks,
Mike
