Hi,

And a Happy New Year to all of you, especially the autor(s) of this cute, new (to me) little sequencer, Mulab. It's great fun; I just installed on my Mac and was up and running in no time. A welcome relief from the complexities of my usual tools!

However.

1) I can't seem to fins a way to set a simple time signature of, say, 3/4 or 6/8!

I'n not talking about mixing time sigs, just basically setting them for a project.

Please don't tell me it isn't possible! Not all music is in 4/4, you know...

2) Also, I can't seem to find any way of using EZ Drummer except as a glorified metronome.

I tried draggin'n'droppin' MIDI clips from the EZD MIDI browser to a predefined 'seguencer' track with EZD in the appropriate rack, but they don't 'stick' in the track!

Basic time signature capability and EZD support will certainly make me a Mulab convert for doodling and composing!

Best regards,

Joey

1) Right-click the composition (not one of the track sections), pick Composition Properties, set Beats per Bar.

2) I've no idea about EZDrummer! :) Can you save the MIDI clip to a file and then import it in MULAB?

Thank you very much! A case of not RTFM, I suppose - I thought I'd looked and clicked everywhere. You saved my day there!

Unfortunately not. The whole idea is, you drag'n'drop MIDI clips from the EZD browser interface to the track and build your drum track clip by clip.

It would be really great if a future Mulab update would includ support for MIDI d'n'd. :hyper: Many people seem to use EZ Drummer...

Thanks again,

Joey

Drag & Drop from the OS to MU.LAB is on the whishlist.

Next week, there will be a poll of which new features are most wanted
