Hi Urs,
I love MFM2 but on my machine I load it up and get rewarded with AWESOMENESS!

Ouch!
I hope there is, that can be because I need my uber lush ambiance!

Maybe Urs needs to change the demo restriction so that every few minutes this stern German accent anounces:
"Dis iss der Demo Mode. Vee haff vays of mayking yoo purchase dis sovtvare."
First chart hit to turn up featuring that wins a prize...
(Registration details should be displayed on the screen at start up, iirc..)

I went back and looked at the email details with serial etc and, yes, silly me, I didn't bother to register it first time round.
That is a really vicious demo restriction it has to be said! I thought my rig was dying. Might want to tone it down some Urs
Anyway, check the mp3, MFM2 makes it so smoooth.

Hehehe, I thought it was way more pleasing and nice than the old noise hiss. The crackles get worse over time though... after a couple of hourse you'll have the sound of a really decently destroyed record...spuddle wrote:That is a really vicious demo restriction it has to be said! Glad it works out though
Cheers,
P.S.: Beej, I don't have a German accent :p (unless I want it)

I downloaded the mfm 2 demo after seeing the great video on gearwire.com, (and the funny description of the program's insanity producing side effects) anyway, it showed up as a collection of h2p files that my computer doesn't know how to open. I use sony acid and a cassette 4 track to make music. could anyone tell me how to get started with the mfm2 demo?

It should come as an installer...slimpistols wrote:I downloaded the mfm 2 demo after seeing the great video on gearwire.com, (and the funny description of the program's insanity producing side effects) anyway, it showed up as a collection of h2p files that my computer doesn't know how to open. The .h2p files are presets. The actual thing is called MFM2.dll and is a VST plugin...
It should work in Acid... I think... just refer to their manual to see how to activate/use VST plugins...
That should get you started!
