Log Fix as Single User boot

Is there a way to do this fix as root? My drive unfortunately will not complete the boot. I just see the muse splash screen.


I have root access so if you could explain what file I need to clear or run the fix as root and how then I can do it that way. My USB flash drive works as single user mode.
