The concept behind the Maize Sampler is good but small things needs attention.

I've made a little free Maize-Rompler (Machine Creator) with sci-fi sounds and you can pick it up over at www.synthtronic.com

Here are my observations:

1. The release on VCA choke and makes cpu spikes if set at 0 when your are playing.

2. If all ADSR is set to exstreme left you still get sound as if the
sustain is fully up. If i turn up the decay a small amount then VCA react
at i thought it would.

3. My samples were seen as 1 sample shorter in the sampler so i had to compensate by settting the start of loop -1.

Example: Normal sample length 0-60000 (loop 20000-60000)
Maize Sampler: sample length 0-59999 (compensated loop 19999-59999)

Thats about it :)

Thanks for the suggestions.

1. Do not understand what do you mean. If the chokegroup is 0 it will not affect anything.

2. Yes, if the decay is zero, it will ignore sustain level. Because we do not do immediate decay in ADSR.

3. Maize Sampler count samples from 0 and some other counts from 1. I think NI Kontakt does the same thing with us. But the total length of the sample will be last sample index +1 for sure.
