Latency isues and Multi Loading delays

I have a new rev c with the following plugins running: Ivory, B4, Kick Ass Brass, and 3 channels of sfz where I layer soundfonts. I love having all these amazing sounds with my band, but I'm starting to notice latency on Ivory that makes it less of a joy to play. The cpu meter usually is about half way when I play, and 1/3 at rest. I'm also using a few eq, reverb and delay effects in the main bus. I guess I have too many things running at once, but when I play live I can't wait between songs for Ivory, B4, or Kick ass Brass to load all their samples. Right now I have my weighted action keyboard set to always play Ivory, and my Roland A-37 is set to play all the other vst instruments by switching midi channels and targeting B4 presets as singles. I'm going to need even more instruments, but I want to avoid the delay it will take to load multis. Snapshots seem to only change mixer settings, so they do nothing to lessen the latency issues. Am I missing something, or should I scale back my expectations of Receptor being able to quickly respond with any instrument that uses lots of samples in a live performance?

In snapshot mode it allows you to mute channels which stops it going to the cpu. I load up all my instruments for the gig, save as a snapshot, then mute the ones i don't want for that song, saving it as a patch in the snapshot folder, works a treat for my useage.
Obviously any sample libraries remain in memory, but by muting channels you can save your cpu meter going through the roof. I found my cpu maxed before my memory did on my rev b.
