Can't assign LFO's in KORE2

I've started improving on my KORE 2 template for Zebra 2 by adding controls for lfo and envelopes but apparently the lfo's can't be assigned in KORE. They appear to be midi learnable but not VST automation learnable which is what KORE uses. That's a pity.
