Basically, it says im having trouble with missing/ crackling and VERY quiet sounds in Sampletank 2. Looking through KVR, it seems it was an issue back years ago too;

Just so you know, Im on an Intel macbook pro, Logic 8. The sound library is the 8 cd-rom version. Ive downloaded the 2.5 dmg from the IK website. Can someone help me out with this,please!

Hi KIm, yes, I will first thing on Monday. I thought it was worth posting here though as Squids seems have dealt with the same issue years ago so I figured he would know what the problem was

Ok, I phoned Paul at IK and he sent me the soundfile fixes from 2004 as I have the original XL2 8cd set and not the twin DVD version....am I behind the times or what 
If anyone is having problems in the future, I hope this thread helps you not go through the 3 day hunt I have been on to fix these probs. Not cool....
Ok, so thats my missing sound problems sorted, now, was there EVER a fix for the preset volume levels being soooo low on some patches? I just cannot believe it would have garnered the glowing reviews it got with these fundamental issues?!
Cmon, I know someone knows the answers to this

Does anyone have the volume level problems? I know for a FACT that the issue has arrisen in the past but ive been through the WHOLE archive and theres no answer and to make it more irritating, the archive stops early 2005 and I can only go back so far using the search. the answer must be in the block of posts I cant access.
