Can anyone recommend a good podcast that they have learned and benefited from about:

-music theory (Piano)

-music theory (Guitar)

-overall general music theory concepts

-general computer based home recording (techniques, concepts, general practice)

I'd like to use my commute to learn about these areas and am really interested in what is out there.

The only music-related Podcast I'm aware of is the Sonic State one. I find it entertaining, but it isn' exactly what you're looking for. They mainly talk about bits of gear (both new and old), interesting music-related internet news, and their experiences in general as recording and performing artists. I often find myself frustrated in that I seem to know a lot more than them about some aspects of technology, particularly modern analog modular synths and modular software such as Reaktor and Max/MSP. Nevertheless, collectively they have a wealth of real-world experience working with many big-name artists, and the podcast is always enjoyable.

I'd be interested in hearing about any other podcasts as well!

I subscribed to the audiomidi.com one but have only listened to one so far.

I found a couple by searching "music theory" but most are not upkept.
