Hi Urs,
I can see you've been very busy by all the posts. I came across Zebra and wanted to see what all the fuss was about, so I downloaded your Demo.

I'm running the latest 10.5.2 OS X, with all the latest updates. Logic Express 8 and Garageband with latest updates.

When I attempt to access Zebra as an AU, both Logic and Garageband crashes. All my other plugs work fine, so I'm kinda stuck trying to try out your Zebra...

I just downloaded the Demo from your site last night. It says Zebra22AU.zip.

Hey Ron,

it's somewhere in MacHD/Users/You/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/

What exactly does the crash look like - what happens, and when?

Have you tried the beta that's available in this forum?

I sent you a copy of the crash report out of GarageBand ...

HOWEVER, just in case there was some funny problem with the Mac, I reinstalled the OS X 10.5.2.

I'll try again with Zebra after I'm done reinstalling all the basic apps, but before I put any of the exotic stuff like VMWare Fusion on. I want to make sure it wasn't anything I had put on. (I've worked with PCs for some 19 years, so I am a newbie on the Mac (only 1 year) )

I have to tell you that I should have used a Mac a loooooong time ago :)

P.S. Of course, if Zebra works, I'm going to have to buy a copy :)
I'm an computer programmer in San Jose, CA

After all, I've NEVER seen such responsiveness to questions like this!!! It's worth it, just knowing the actual programmer is available if I get stuck.

Hi ocular,

I'm running Fusion on my 10.5.2 macbook with the AU version of Z2 with no problems. Have you installed the latest beta version? It has a few new features and bugfixes.

I've been thinking about it yesterday, but got stuck at some point (thus naturally forgot to hit reply button in Mail.app). There's no clear answer as of now, so hmmm... maybe it's an installation issue...

Please let me know if the reinstall (or the beta) fixes the problem...

There'll also be a new beta quite soon which may help...
