Kontakt 2- Receptor and CDXtract (for Pyramid Collection)

Im a receptor owner (standard model) version 1.6 software and have been happily using Kontakt 2 with a few banks.

Recently I purchased a couple of banks from Pyramid Collection which were in Kurzweil format (believing they'd work with receptor) but noted that I couldn't see the files on the cd via my windows PC.

So I used CDXtract to extract the files (which I tested and found to be ok)I then saved them and transferred the files over to my receptor.

While they loaded in Kontakt 2 - as soon as I started playing a few notes - the receptor reset itself.
this happens constantly. I have a 2gig receptor with 15% hard drive free.

im puzzled as all other plugins i.e. ones that don't need CD Xtract work fine

anyone else see this issue - is there a known remedy ?
