how many voices?

I've made a patch which, when I hold one key in poly mode and press after that another, drops to that note. Sound like I ran out of poly voices. It's heavy patch yes. So how many voices is there? It says "many" in poly settings but still drops.

Many is usually 16 voices.
Can you send me the patch to anybody at u-he dot com? I'd love to have a look and see what's up with it...
Cheers,
Urs

Got the patch - thanks!
It's interesting, I firstly had only 8 voices - until I realized that my USB keyboard would send on USB and through my MIDI interface, thus playing 2 voices with each note.
It seems to work correct on my machine...
Hmmm... you use LFO2 and LFO3 to control fx parameters. As the fx are global and the LFOs are per voice, the last voice played always "takes over", which might explain the random "jumps" one occasionally gets. Maybe you should take LFOG1 and LFOG2 for this, as these are global - they don't jump on pressing new notes...

I had a slight variation on that happening myself, Urs. For the last few weeks, it seemed like I just wasn't getting the kind of horsepower out of my Quad Core that I should...CPU demand was getting up there way too fast. Yesterday, I suddenly realized that my CME controller had started sending MIDI on channels 1 AND 2 (I must have inadvertently changed a setting on it), so that all of my softsynths were getting two note on's for every note I played and doubling the CPU usage. I didn't realize what was happening until I used the PPG 2.V plugin for the first time in a long while and noticed it was playing two different patches at once (since the 2.V is a multi-timbral plug). It's interesting, I firstly had only 8 voices - until I realized that my USB keyboard would send on USB and through my MIDI interface, thus playing 2 voices with each note.
Definitely one of those smack-yourself-repeatedly-on-the-forehead moments.
