after successfully registering MFM2 I ran into a big computer mess unrelated to MFM2 and had to reconfigure my compurer to an acronis mirror image from a while back.....now when i try to re-register, MFM2 tells me i've used up all my chances to register.....what now?? Also I think it would be a good idea if you used only zeroes....no " o's" in your serial numbers I had three round things in my serial and had to work through all the possiblilities ..... thanks , rick

Hi,
I'm sorry for the hassle and for having to reconfigure the machine...
There are three attempts to enter reg codes for *each session* in a host. That is, if you quit the host and start it again, you have three attempts again (this was done to defeat naive brute force hosts... we don't need that anymore... no brute force method in the world can crack any of MFM2's codes within a solar system's life time... I might just cancel that functionality)
Using Os, 0s, ls and 1s unfortunately is a lot of extra bits of security while keeping the reg code easy to copy and paste. Latter is what I highly recommed - just copy and paste the reg code.
Cheers,
Urs
