Receptor and Soft Synths with large files / samples

Sorry to ask this dumb question, but I cannot see the answer in the forum.

At the moment, I have BFD 2, Atmosphere and Trilogy installed on my PC and as we all know, these programs are installed from various disks which require a lot of space to accommodate their samples / files ( 3gb + for Atmosphere / Trilogy / 40gb + for BFD 2). My question is, if I wish to use these soft synths on Receptor, do I have to transfer the files over to it, or do they stay on my PC's hard drive ? If the latter, how can Receptor improve the performance of the program, given that the files that produce the sound are located elsewhere (ie on my PC hard drive )?

Thanks for your help.

You have to install the files on the Receptor's hard drive
