Hi ,
I've got a good knowledge of synthesis but only just started using softsynths and logic etc . Been having fun with Zebra 2 which I bought a couple of weeks ago . I just downloaded the new beta version and I have two files there , Zebra.component and zebra.vst . Can anyone tell me , should I put these in a folder in logic or zebra etc ? Not sure as have never updated an Au synth before . Cheers for any help .
Dan .

Dan,
On a Mac, the paths should be:
For Component: Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plugins/Components
For Vst: Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plugins/Vst
If you don't find the Vst folder you can create one: Control click in
Plugin folder, choose Create New Folder, and rename it Vst.
I hope that helps.
Zebra2 is my favorite synth and this forum is a great place to pick
up useful information. Urs is often here as well.
Cheers,
Scott

Dan,
I also should add that I usually move the existing component and vst files to
a backup folder before updating, just to make sure there are no issues with
my system. If there are it makes it easy to swap the older files back.
