Authorising Ivory / Using ILok

I have had Ivory 1.63 running on my PC for some time but did not upgrade it to version 1.7 as I did not get round to purchasing an ILok key. On receiving my recent Pro Junior, which included an ILok, I then decided to install the 1.7 upgrade. Everything went fine, except my PC now fails to shut down or reboot properly due to "Driver Power State Failure". I visit to my PC store suggests that the Ilok might have corrupted my PC, as this problem has only occurred since it was installed. I therefore removed the ILok and its client software, and reinstalled Ivory 1.6x, which runs without an ILok.

What has all this got to do with Receptor you may ask ? Well, on attempting to authorise Ivory today after downloading the prep installer and copying all the files, the authorisation site tells me that the serial number has been registered (to now work with ILok) and the old unlock code method is no longer appropriate. So, how can I authorise Ivory for it to work with Receptor ? Can I ask Synthogy to provide me with another serial number that is not already "ILok registered", that will then allow an unlock code to be emailed to me ?

On the subject of the ILok, I notice from Plugorama that some free software requires an ILok licence, as well as some of the demo software I believe. How do I get the ILok to work with Receptor, if I need to download its client software ?

Thanks for your help in advance.

I had this problem and solved it by sending a begging email to Synthogy.
