arpeggiator gate time mod?

I've been playing with the zebra demo again, and was trying to make some typical sequencer lines with the arpeggiator... is there a way to modulate all the gate times of each note at once? a lot of older analog style sequencers use a common gate time per step, and this really lets you take a bassline and morph it from full and driving to staccato and back just by swinging one knob back and forth...

Is this possible within zebra?

I'm probably misunderstanding you, but wouldn't tweaking the decay of your envelope do this? Or are you talking about something more advanced, something where you'd morph from (for instance) Full step - half step - full step to half step - quarter step - half step?

edit: I meant Sustain, ofcourse.

try this patchs.its a little workarround. i have painted a gatetime in the arpmod. then the envelope slope is modulated by this. automate the amount (in mod matrix) to manipulate the gatetime of all notes. :)

tweaking the decay time doesn't do exactly the same thing (because the gate time determines how long the note is held before going to the release stage) but on simple basslines like I'm doing it's more than close enough now that I've fiddled with it.

Thanks a bunch.
