Explanation of Artillery Effects2008-09-02T09:41:11+00:00Hello there,
I recently purchased Artillery 2 and am loving it! I just wondered if someone could explain a couple of things about some of the effects. Most are self explanatory but there are a couple of vague effects. For instance, what is the difference between say the normal looper and the step looper?
Many thanks.The Rumblisthttps://www.kvraudio.com/forum/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=129844

I have found the manual for Artillery, but it doesn't actually explain what the differences with the effects are. It simply talks about how to use the software and how to set it up. It would be very useful to have a breakdown of what each effect does (except maybe some of the more obvious ones such as chorus and phaser).
are you looking for this kind of explanation?
You can find it in the "Effects Manual" which is part
of the Artillery2 manual. But we are as well planning some tutorials for Artillery2.
Ring Deluxe
The deluxe version of a ring modulator. A free running oscillator controls the amplitude of an audio signal. The possible sounds go from yummy tremeloes to wild FM-bleeps. Using the KeyTrack feature, the oscillators pitch can be played on the keybord. Also the Universal Modulator opens up new special FX worlds, for example control the Pitch parameter with an envelope follower to add interesting special fx-sounds.
Tonal Delay
The delay times of this delay are converted to pitch frequencies. Playing the pitch on the keyboard using the KeyTrack feature, makes a synthesizer out of any audio signal.
Steplooper
This effect records the audio signal constantly and loops each part of it for a number of times. So as long as you hold the key, this looper is stepping along with your track.
Turntable
The audiosignal is stopped or started with a certain acceleration when you activate this effect.
