Dear Effectrix users,

we just released the 1.2 update of Effectrix.

New Feature:
-Chaos Button (Pattern Randomize)

Improvements and Fixes:
-20 new presets
-Mod Track Copy/Paste
-Filter Cutoff Midi Learn
-Small Gui Fixes

Checkout the new Effectrix and download the 1.2. update!

A new Demo Version has also been uploaded.

Is anybody having trouble installing the update? The installation looks like it works, but every time I look at the new .dll file, it's still the first version. Do I need to totally remove this one? Anyone else having this problem?

Maybe you install the (new) dll into a different path ?
Try deleting the dll by hand and reinstall then.
Make sure to select the correct Vst-path in the installer.

Normaly you don't have to remove anything, the new version should just overwrite the old one.

I tried a new path, even made a new folder to start from scratch. When I download from the Effectrix 1.2 for Win link on your website, it installs the 1.0.0.1 version.

Hi Reese,

please don't look at the dll properties.
When you bring up Effectrix after installation,
it should have the CHAOS button (top right) and
in the about screen it should say Version 1.2.0.

I doublechecked the win download, it contains v1.2 for sure.

Sorry, didn't mean to be a headache.. I looked for but was not seeing the chaos button before.. i may have just needed to restart. Thanks for your help

Hi,

I just purchased and installed the latest version of Effectrix for my Mac (OSX 10.5.

. Apparently install was successful, but I can't seem to find the folder in which the VST is located! I'm running Ableton Live 8 and I would expect it to be in the Music > Ableton > Plugins > VST folder, but its not. There is a Sugar Bytes folder in my Applications directory, however.

Any help? Please!

Ive installed the demo and Ableton is not seeing it... Would love to purchase this.. but based on the demo not even working I dont know how smart this would be.

Im running 64bit win7... Ive selected 64 bit, tried both 64 and 32... and Its just not showing up...
