Evokative

How is that name?

Or suggest a similar one perhaps.

BTW it will be an hybrid synth for abstract sounds derived from Modelonia but with VA sub synth module added, I was planning this for a long time)

I think people will say that the 'k' is very 'Native Instruments'... ;) But what the hell. :hihi:

My thought as well. But it works anway.

Post

yeah I though about that, but why should they have the K monopoly?, <grin>

would Evocative be more NUSofting?

Post

Either would be fine. NUVocative wouldn't do, looks too much like a dental anaesthetic.

Post

For some reason Evocative is easier on my eyes than with the k.

LOL, never thought but maybe Novokaine could be a new name for my Kaotica multieffects

I reckon so.

you could drop the final 'e' to stand out from the crowd..

You could turn the final 've' into an 'x' to make it sound like a laxative.. <marketing>great for making ambient sh*t</marketing>... oh, err, nah better not :scared:

:)

Good name tho' - I'm surprised it hasn't been used yet!

Evocative vote!

The K is a bit overused in audio software.

What about EvoSynth?

Post

I think I will use "Evocative", looks nice near "Modelonia", <grin>

"Evocativa" could also do if I want to use my mother language
the ethymology is approx " it calls for a voice out"

EvoSynth is good too but sound more like evolution or the Evolve hardware synth
