ok this is weird
yesterday i was making this song all day and mulab worked like a charm, more or less. so in the evening i saved my work and after that i played it again a few times and it was all good.
so today when i woke up i wanted to hear the song again and i starded mulab, loaded the song and played it for a few seconds but after like 10 seconds into the song, it overloads mulab.
then i tried a few more times and it happened again, sometimes after 5 secs, sometimes 10, sometimes 7, so its more or less random, not just a particular part of the song.
questions:
1) i guess i should convert all the midi parts to audio? will that help?
2) when i convert individual sequences to audio, should i maximize their volume in the mixer before converting, so that the audio files are better, or it doesnt make a difference?
3) can anyone explain how is it possible that it worked yesterday with the same settings and today it wont?
but the first two questions are kinda the most important to me.
thanks for reading.

Yes, if you also disable (i.e. Process switch = OFF) the plugins they were using.tomica wrote:questions:

Practically, it doesn't make a difference.2) when i convert individual sequences to audio, should i maximize their volume in the mixer before converting, so that the audio files are better, or it doesnt make a difference?
It's easier to leave things as they are.
Then make a mixdown, put the mixdown on a separate track, and route it straight to the Audio Output. Then you can mute the parts and plugins that were used to build that track. But keep them in the session in case you want to change something.
Eventually you could create a new composition in the same session: 1 composition where everything is build using the parts, plugins etc... and 1 composition that plays the resulting mixdowns.
You have multiple options (there may be more), feel free to make your own choice.
I don't know, sounds strange. Maybe there were other applications open in the background today..?3) can anyone explain how is it possible that it worked yesterday with the same settings and today it wont?
Todays computers are so complex that there could be a lot of reasons.
That's why some musicians prefer to have a music-only computer so to minimize 'external' overhead.
