Artillery VST no longer showing up (solved!)

Hi, I've usually been an audio unit user of Artillery, and it works fine. Now however, I want to use the VST version because I've started using Kore and I'm going to stick to VST versions (since that what it uses for it's internal versions).
However, Artillery does not show up in Kore as a VST, nor does it even show up in Ableton Live's VST list. It is in the VST fodler with all the rest, but simply doesn't get recognized.
Is there really nobody using the VST version of Artillery on mac OSX?
I remember it used to show up with an earlier version, as I remember trying it out, but no longer. Was this new to the latest version? Can we confirm this?
thanks

Hi, please make sure you run the latest versions of our products.
Rescan plugins in Live and Kore. We just tested it and it worked fine,
best

Hi, thanks for checking. I definitely do have the latest version, and I did already try a reinstall and it still doesn't show up. Very strange. It's there in my VST folder, but won't show up in ableton or Kore still.
Could something be off with a preference file or something? I would have thought a reinstall would fix that if so, but maybe not? Can you suggest anything else to do or some file to trash?
thanks

Please delete the plist file before reinstalling.
You find it here:
USER:Library:Preferences:com.sugar-bytes.Artillery2.plist

And if it still doesn't work after that, for Live, delete your preferences.cfg
For Kore, you'd delete the Artillery.ksd in the database cache for your third party plugins.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I will try that when I get home.
ew, unfortunately there is no Artillery ksd in the Kore database cache, so hopefully trashing Artillery's preferences helps with that.
Here's to hoping! Artillery is actually the main plug-in I want to use with Kore since I'm hoping that I can assign a different keyrange to Artillery than the instrument, thus being able to play both an instrument plug-in and Artillery at the same time on the keyboard keyboard. That would be amazing!

It is now working, excellent!
I was losing hope for a minute since I first trashed my Artillery prefs and then opened Live but still it wouldn't show up. I then trashed my ableton prefs and it did show. Then when I opened Kore, it also detected Artillery. So I guess I needed to trash ableton's prefs for it to show up there and Artillery's prefs for it to show up in Kore. Strange.
But at least, it's fixed. Artillery is fanastic with Kore. It eliminates the need for an extra midi track! Excellent. They were made for each other!
thanks Sugar Bytes and ew for your help!

I'm running Ableton 6.0.7 on a 10.5.5 mac (2.4 ghZ intel/4GB Mem).
I've tried the deletion of the preferences.cfg file.
I can't seem to get my Hypersonic, Groove Agent or Virtual Guitar/Virtual Guitar Electric Edition plugs to show up, even though they are in the proper VST folder. Similarly, I have other VSTs that aren't visible as well.
Any suggestions?
Thank you,
SN1*
