Hello,

Is putting multiple oscilators in the same column on the grid, going to yield the same results as putting them on separate columns?

or do the oscilators affect each other in some way when they are all in the ame column?

thanks,

Nope, it's all the same, but putting them in one channel might save cpu and headaches.

Rule of thumb: Oscillators add, filters replace

To "add" means, whatever is already going on in a channel is left untouched, and the mdoule adds its output on top of that. To "replace" means that a module is like an insert effect, and the outcome depends on what comes in. Just like you would expect from a filter.

One exception are FMOs. The feedback modes add liek oscillators while the FM modes replace like filters. Comb filters are also special because they allow to mix in the dry signal.

Cheers,

;) Urs
