Record from Vsti audio output

Can I record from Vsti audio output? For example: I want to play a vsti and at the same time to record the sound from that, no like event.
The only opsion that I have is to record audio from wave-asio audio input

Not as far as I know -- you can only record audio input and MIDI input. (It's usually better to record the MIDI, anyway... not sure why you wouldn't want to.)

If you really want to record what you hear, there's a Voxengo VST plugin called Recorder which you can insert anywhere in a signal chain. (It's not level triggered, you have to start recording manually.)
