just a simple question. i've read different things on the net, but, I'd like to hear what experiences all of you've had with the Sylenth AU version versus the VST version.

Hi !
I have early 2006 iMac Core Duo 2Ghz with 2Gb Ram in my project studio and Ableton Live 7 as main sequencer. Ableton can host AU and VST and in my comparison , Sylenth AU version eats a little bit more CPU resources on the same preset(+2-5% compare to VST). But this results are based on Ableton's built-in CPU meter and may not be fully correct.

The VST and AU version both use the same audio engine, the only difference is the plug-in format. There's absolutely no difference in sound and I would be surprised if there's even a bit difference in CPU usage.
