MULAB always locks when I want to save or do anything involving the hard drive (like finding VSTi's) right after I click on 'Volumes' and then click on my hard drive. I just get the spinning 'Beachball' forever until I force quit. I can still use other programs as normal when it's happening.
My computer is a Power Mac G4 with dual 1.25 ghz processors
Running up to date OS X 10.5 Leopard
When I go back in, it has autosaved my song, but there's no way to save it properly.
I have already rebuilt disk permissions and checked for corrupted preferences. Other programs have no trouble saving or browsing the hard disk.
Can anyone help?

QUICK UPDATE:
If you wait about 15 mins......
It finishes scanning and lets you save then, but if you hit 'save as' again... it does it all again
what's going on??

There can be some problems on certain mac machines.
The very problem is that Apple is constantly changing OSX and creating incompatibilities between the various OSX versions
I'll be researching this in more detail and look for a solution.
