I knew this was bound to happen.

Well, with Perfect sync on, things seem to play smoothly. But once you start touching timesignatures on host to read 5/8, then touch the timesig variables on the Rhythm Editor, things go a bit wacky. (ie: Loading a pattern via Quickstart tab would exhibit weird behaviour, wheras this doesn't happen on pressing Load through the Rhythm Editor tab.)

That said, Perfect-sync does listen to the host, so 5/8 on host does indeed skip 2 and a half beats on a 5/4 pattern. :)

Well, I just checked. When you use another subdivision than 4 (like 5/8 or 7/8) it really does weird things. I'll check.

But it works correctly with 5/4, 7/4 and such. Can you describe this case a little bit please?

I did further digging into the 5/8 case and it seems that with MIDI commands it works pretty well. However it does not work so good with song structure enabled. In this case it becomes driven by the odd bar starting positions and jumps from place to place. But you can use the MIDI command method, or even drag & drop the commands from the song structure editor.

I'll try to fix the song structure if possible.

So I did just a small improvement and - in the next version it will be ok, except that the denominators will not be supported natively. However you will be able to compensate it using "speed change". Just did some tests and seems working fine. 8)
