cant start uniwire

Hi all! I am on a macbook runing10.5.6 recep is hooked up via crossover cable. Every tiem I try to check the uniwire button to start it I wont stay on it just switches back off. It doesnt matter if I do this from the computer via remote control or from the front panel . any help is appreciated

Gary,
You do not have to check the uniwire box on Receptor. Uniwire will turn on automatically when instantiated as an AU in whatever DAW you are running, at least it's supposed to work that way. It works that way for me with Logic Express.

thanks, Yeah You are rigth it worked. Then I realized Something why the hell am I trying to turn it on with out using it.
