Digital Performer 5.01-Uniwire 1.1-OSX 10.3.9

Does this combination work at all?
I am using an old Mac G4-466 with DP 5.01 and os 10.3.9. Any known incompatibilities?
I installed Uniwire 1.1.20070112 from the original disc that came with my receptor. (I downloaded the latest receptor tools but it fails to install, in spite of alleged 10.3 compatibility)
The Uniwire plugin appears and loads in Digital Performer's mixer and tha audio goes to the Receptor (it moves the meters in Receptor Remote Control) but is not coming back in Performer
