The interface of Zebra 2 does not do its sound justice.

This is the interface of Twin 2. Check it out. I love Zebra 2 and I know it has a lot going on but I don't find the interface as intuitive as with some other synths.
Anyone else feel the same or is it just me?

Actually, I could live with the Zebra 2 interface as-is if there were some damn documentation. The existing user manual only tells you what the modules are, it doesn't even describe how to connect them! As a new Zebra 2 owner, I've only been able to do delta-patches so far because I have no clue how to connect the modules in the interface. If anyone could describe how this is done, I'd really appreciate it.
u-he: Why not do a tutorial, either in flash or just YouTube video, where you demonstrate how to set up some basic patches with your bizarro interface?

I think it's a lot easier to figure out than Reaktor or Absynth.Baz_Masterplan wrote:

Of course that's not saying much.

Just spoil them with innovative aesthetic intuitive interfaces with commonly used terms for devices and patches.

A simpler fixed signal path synth will have a more obvious GUI... A modular synth, by its very nature, will be more open ended, and can be structured in so many ways.Baz_Masterplan wrote:

Personally, I think the Zebra GUI is outstanding. The signal path is easy to understand at a glance. A large array of tools are at the users disposal.
I am happy with the basic Zebra GUI. Now that I have a couple synths with more direct visual cues regarding modulation, I would like to see something like that in Zebra. To me that is a logical evolution, not some wholesale change.

Zeberatte or zebra CM is the only fix for those that find the Modula GUI to hard to understand,
but as far as Modula GUI's go, Z2 has the best out there (IMO)

well, I find the twinII interface rather messy, lot's of dragging and clicking for connecting modulation. Cool looks but mostly a gimmick for me.
In Z² I just right click, select what to modulate, adjust the mod depth and done. Simple and I see directly what is modulating what.
A bigger spectral editor however would make me happier
