Does MU.LAB do external audio effects like Live does?

Just a quick question, can you assign a send effect type track to an external effects processor, such as what you can do with Ableton Live's external effect plug-in.
Thanks-

I think you could set this up in the modular plugin area. But there's nothing "in the rack", AFAIK.

It would be an ideal app for adding finishing touches of effects to the master track of a rewired sequencer if ya can do it.....

I was trying to do something similar.
I have an external usb audio interface and an integrated soundcard. I used asio4all to activate 2 outputs from my usb interface and 2 from the internal soundcard. Then I checked those 4 outputs in MuLab's audio setup dialog. I expected to be able to route racks to any of those outputs (2 stereo pairs), but I had just one available output. I tried to add an output in the modular view, but it didn't change a thing since there was no option to edit it.
I don't know if I missed something or MuLab can't output to more than 1 stereo pair, but that would be odd since you can add more than 1 stereo pair in the audio setup dialog.
I was able to use 2 stereo outputs in energy XT2 and Cubase LE4 with asio4all.

Yeah, so any multi I/O soundcard/audio interface should be able to send audio out of one or more inputes and recieve that audio on another set of inputes, however the issue comes into play when you editor/sequencer cant assign tracks/busses to these seperate I/Os.... Such as in Ableton live and now I do believe Profools, err I mean Protools does have the external FX option plug in now too.

Oo, hadn't tried it myself.
Yes, if I have six output channels, there should be some way to use three output stereo pairs but I don't see how to set it up myself.

Currently MU.LAB simply outputs to 1 stereo pair. But as you can see, under the hoods everything is constructed so to stream to multiple outs. It's a matter of finetuning the GUI around it. Which is on the whishlist.
