Hello Everyone!
My name is David, I m new in this forum but I'm a quite "old" user of this awesome synth

Anyway, I thought would have been cool for all the logic users to have a nice "Logic Style" icon for our favorite (at least mine) software synth.
So here you are :

I designed this image in photoshop, it's of course a bit different from the original sylenth1, the image want's to be an icon for logic and not a high fidelity re-design of the original gui.
Anyway, if you like it and you want to use in your own logic projects just read the following instructions :
Open the application folder (where the logic package should be installed), right click on the logic icon and select "Show Package Content", another window will appear, with a folder "Contents" double click on it, and then open the folder "Resources", at this time search the folder "Images" and then the folder "Icons", here you will find all your default logic icons named from 1 to 325, now just take the sylenth1 icon that I previously linked and rename it with the next number available in the "Icon" folder (for example if the highest number in your folder is 325 name the sylenth1 icon 326.png), now open logic, create a new track and click on the default image displayed in the inspector to change the track icon, now you should be able to see the new icon ready to be used in each of your projects

I modified it for Sonar 7 format. I guess it will work in Sonar 8 also.
I hope the original author doesn't mind.
You might need to change the file format to bmp with any basic graphics viewer (IrfanView, FastStone are free) or paint program.

It's also possible to install user icons in Logic without opening the package contents in case anyone was wondering. I store all my icons here

/Username/Library/Application Support/Logic/Images/Icons

If the images/icons folders do not exist, just create them. The icons still need to start with the number. I started mine with 400 and just keep going up. The icons will show up just like the ones that come with Logic.

Oh and thanks for the great Sylenth icon.

I added this icon to my Wusiklabel page, is that ok? I could remove it if you don't want to me to use it. It's next to a song I had written with Sylenth1 and posted on there.
