Can I run a midi effect before a synth? Be it an arpeggiator, or anything?
Asked Muse's before you buy email, no response, asked Sweetwater, they had no idea.
Can't find any info.
Can Receptor run MIDI-out effects? No, right?

Not in current versions of the Receptor software. MIDI plugins are not supported.
But one way to do it would be to use something like Phrazor as the first VST, which is itself a VST host. I tried this a year or so ago, but it wasn't very stable, and they aren't developing Phrazor anymore.
