Sylenth works perfectly in Live 8 so I think your installation must have gone wrong.

well thats good news i suppose. i have tried reinstalling live & sylenth 2.2 & nothing is showing up, i tried installing the sylenth demo & that works fine for some reason obviously im doing something wrong.

The sylenth1 folder contains the license dat, any ideas?

Did you install the demo and the full version on the same drive of the computer? I see in that screenshot it has the I drive showing there.

Not sure if this would affect anything, but maybe Lennard knows. :?:

Also what upgrade/update are talking about? There hasn't been one for a while now. Did you just now notice that it doesn't work... months after it was updated?

Also, Djanthony mentioned a good point so I will go a bit farther on that one...are you using an emulator like Fusion or Parallels on a Mac?

Post

yeah i put the demo in the same dir & it worked fine.
Im talking about the upgrade from live 7 to 8 live 7 was fine all the other vst's are working ok.
Im using windows xp 64.

Have you tried rescanning/browsing your custom VST plugins folder?

Btw, there should not be a Sylenth1 folder inside the Sylenth1 folder. How did it get there exactly? Are you sure you are running the latest version of Sylenth1? Did you uninstall/delete the previous version properly?

Try taking the Sylenth.dll file out of VSTplugins, then launch Live. Then put it back in and the relaunch Live. That should tell it to rescan the DLL.

If that doesn't work, trash your Live preferences.
