Mu goes haywire with rhino!

I've noticed some strange behavior with Rhino from Big Tick inside MU.LAB, it becomes very unstable, for instance when browsing presets in Rhino's internal browser you don't get very far once you change banks.. I think the plug locks up or something like that. but worse than that is I got a horrible crash that ended up in some error message infinite loop. I took some notes when that happened:
Program crashed then gave error
"Internal thread loop time-out error @ ReadEditProtectionClass[10]"
Kept giving error every 10-15 seconds, I had to reboot.
also there was another instance where when Rhino was running any note played on any plugin would make the CPU meter read "overload". this behavior would stop if I stopped rhino from being processed. I didn't take notes about the conditions that's just what I can remember. I did notice similar behavior with two TAL plugins, ELEK7RO(beta) with mfilter in the #2 slot of the same rack. I think that happened when I tried to have both GUIs open at the same time, I think it would only overload on that rack though.

I downloaded the R2 demo and it indeed crashed the very first time when i plugged it in.
From then on it didn't crash anymore, even when heavily changing banks.
Could you find a repeatable pattern in when it is crashing? (i couldn't)

Could you please tell me exactly what to do so to repeat the crash. I'm not sure I can repeat the crash with the TAL plugs it's only happened that one time and those are some of my most used plugins. ELEK7RO's been getting a fair bit of abuse from me since he dropped it though so if there's something that triggers it you can bet i'll come across it again. I'll load up Rhino and try to get more exact, I'll post up the results.

When I first loaded up rhino again i just started switching banks and presets, hitting notes on the keyboard. What happened was not the total crash, it was what happened the other day after it totally crashed but couldn't remember exactly how it went. it got stuck on a preset, i could play notes but that was it. it actually locked up the whole gui for MuLab and I had to close it from the taskbar. I tried really hard to make this happen again for at least an hour but could not do so. I really think it has something to do with the way Rhino handles its interface; the way it refreshes whenever you switch presets seems to give an audio stutter if you press a key quickly after you switch to a preset with a longer attack, I also noticed that ASIO4all gives an exclamation in the system tray when this happens. I'll have to try it on the kx driver once I get my AMD machine set up but don't hold your breath 'cause I've got a bunch of backing up to do before that will happen, well at least a lot of looking to see what all I need to back up. Well thanks for checking it out I'm just glad to be able to use rhino again I've been wanting to fiddle with that damned fiddly beast.

Thanks for the report.
If you get a more detailed view on what's going on and you think MU.LAB needs a modification, please let me know!
