Hi -
New owner of 2nd hand Rev B, O/S 1.7.20080616. Hooked it up to my mac G4 running osx 10.5. They are connected by a linksys wrt150n router. the mac is connecting to the router via wi-fi, the receptor has a wired connection to the router. Receptor has static IP of 192.168.1.200 (although I used it with a dynamic address before, and that worked fine).
Receptor seems to be working fine: I've played a bunch of sounds on it, and I've changed various parameters and they stick. Receptor remote control works perfectly, also.
HOWEVER, I can neither view nor mount the Receptor's hard drive in the mac. I can see it in finder, but my only option is "share screen" - no drives are listed.
So, on the receptor I went to Setup -> File Sharing and found that this parameter was set to OFF. I turned the knob to change it to ON and pushed the knob. Switched back to OFF. Repeated this about 40 times. Kept resetting itself to OFF.
Went to RRC, went to "Setup" screen and clicked "File Sharing" ON. Click "APPLY" button. Sproing! File sharing checkbox clears. Did this about 40 times.
Why can't I turn on file sharing?
Any suggestions?

Install/Setup Problem: Cannot set "File Sharing " to "On"

In my original post below, the third paragraph is confusing. Here's what it should say:
HOWEVER, I can neither view nor mount the Receptor's hard drive in the mac. I can see the Receptor in osx's Finder, but my only option associated with the Receptor in Finder is "share screen" - no drives for the Receptor are listed.
