Drumset Change / Output Channels question

Hi there,
I am working on template tracks to smoothly integrate MDrummer large into Reaper.
I understand the output routing per drum to one of 16 stereo outputs. The Melda defaults seem to be bd/sn on out1 hh on out2 a.s.o.
But I needed bd out1, sn out 2 (seperate for sidechain compressor in reaper). ANd I want to have this for ALL Drumkits so that I can always use the same tracks template in Reaper. With proper naming and routing in Reaper.
I can easily change the routing in MDrummer. But then when I am playing with different default Drumkits later in MDrummer the routing is always reseted to the Melda defaults.
Is there an easy way to fix the routing for ALL default kits to what I need? Kindof global routing?
The only solution I can see (so far) is building custom kits from Melda defaults with my routing and save them. Big bunch of work, though...
Cheers

Hi,
well for now this is truly the only solution. How about this idea:
You'll create a drumset, set routing the way you want and then save it into a "routing" file. When you load another drumset afterwards, you will load a routing too, which will set the output channels according to drum types.
Finally it would even be possible to set such a routing in "global settings" to get it replaced automatically.
Good enough?

Cool. Can this be done right now (2.11 here, have to update to 2.13...)? Or are you planning to add this to a new release?MeldaProduction wrote:Hi,

I'm afraid, you'll need to wait a little. It can be done into the next release, but we are now stuck at some things (reverb particulary), so it may need some more time to do that.

No problem... I can come arround that easily for one or two songs. But I will finish my templates only when this feature showed up.MeldaProduction wrote:I'm afraid, you'll need to wait a little.
