Good morning,
I just wanted to confirm that Direct Install WILL NOT work with Mac OS 10.4.11? Thought I read that here somewhere but just wanted to confirm.

That's what I was told my the Muse support folks recently, and you may have read my post on that issue. It's the Mac OS, apparently, that is preventing remote access to the CD/DVD drive, which of course prevents Direct Install from getting the files off your installer disk. Muse said Apple fixed this in OS 10.5.6.
(Unfortunately for me, my ol' iMac doesn't have the ponies to run 10.5.6. Time for the inevitable upgrade, I guess...)

Hmmm........I'll have to look into 10.5.6, then, and what's required to run it system-wise....I upgraded the RAM on my iMac but we'll see - what was missing from your mac system-wise? Thanks again!

Well, my (2002 vintage) iMac is only a 700 MHz G4 processor, falling just short of the minimum requirements for 10.5.6. I'm short on RAM too, though I could add it... . Like I say, probably time to upgrade. I've just been trying to hold off as long as possible!
