Simon Cann has a new book, "Becoming a Synthesizer Wizard: From Presets to Power User" which features Zebra2 as one of four synths used to illustrate concepts. The other synths are Karma FX Synth Modular, Vaz Modular, and SynthEdit. He also builds a synth using SynthEdit and has the underlying files available on his website.

Acording to Amazon, the book is not yet released, but can be preordered. I have read two of his other books, "Cakewalk Synthesizers" and "Make A Noise," both of which have been very helpful to me.

He has some nice instructional videos here:

I thought the folks here on KVR (especially Zebra2 owners) would be interested.

Apologies for bumping a three year old thread, but it is deserved. I am on vacation, reading through this book, and it has ruined me. :). I am sitting on a beach in Hawaii, wishing to be back at my home studio with my Mac and Zebra. This book is no replacement for the manuals, and he states that several times -- but as he walks through the (Zebra) settings he is using, and why he goes a particular route to sound generation (and there are often many ways to achieving a similar sound), it really has opened my eyes on how I will approach sound creation with Zebra - and other synths. Excellent description of how to use the various settings of Zebra, to achieve sonic bliss... ;)

Anyway... Highly recommend, I am reading the electronic version via a Safari Books subscription... here on a beach in Maui.. Soaking up the sun, looking forward to getting home to try out some of my new founds knowledge. :)

Cheers
