Morning,
Just a quick question. Is there a faster way to add an envolope to the filter resonance then using the modulation matrix?
as far as i could tell the two modulaton slots on the filter are for the cut off. so at the minute i'm using the mod matrix (which is all good), but i read on here the other day in another thread that the mod matrix shouldn't be needed for most patches and yet I tend to always modulate resonance.
not that i mind using the matrix its just if theres a quicker way it would be handy.
cheers for any help.

Coyote,
not what you're trying to doing exactly, but it's useful to know anyway:
Right click on an x/y area, you'll get a context menu, select cutoff and resonance. Now they're mapped to x + y
It's fast and easy.

For what you want to do (modulating filter resonance with a source such as an envelope or lfo), there's no faster way than using a mod matrix slot.

cool cheers for clearing it up. the amount of times ive been doing something the long way then found out years down the line that theres a faster way, I thought i'd check first for once.

Yeah, sorry, I find that filter resonance isn't necessarily a primary modulation target. Hence I think that the ModMatrix is good enough
