This string machine sounds beautiful. There are a couple others I tried which are freeware, but your plug-in has that mark of quality with sound!

"Strings Dream Synthesizer" sounds really impressive!
I have Hugo Portillos very good emulation for Reaktor and also Gforce "Virtual String Machine" but your new instrument has its own character and seems to be soundwise quite flexible without loosing his "old flair".

The more I play with this the more I like it! The phaser is really good, I would love to have it as FX too.

The oscillators of the SDS are the best emulation of the divide-down oscillators I heard. When I was designing Reaktor's Solina and Eminent, I was trying to get them right for several months (yeah, they are mine ) but the waveshapers of the SDS are better. The envelope is different, though, for the reasons I explained in a message before.

i dont know what the demo limitations are but with the mac au, not one slider is moving or button working...

????

and also there seems not to even be a single preset?? very odd demo.

which AU host and OS X you used?

go to the drop-down menu at the bottom right (it probably lists "Various" as the default).
Tell it to use the Next Skin. It will ask you to close the plugin window and re-open it, and a different GUI will be shown. This one seems to work correctly. There must be a bug with the default GUI.
The presets are missing on my system also, though.

Well it seems that the AU SDS has a loading bug for presets and bitmaps,
so that default bank and default images are not loaded correctly

exactly two: unrensponsive controls and missing default presets.
