Any news on the release date of M3?

Will there be a track freeze facility to save on CPU in M3?

just wondering about that issue on Free Scrolling with the RMB or similar.
It's something we will see in v3.0?

Yes, definitely. It's already implemented. But can't yet make it available as it's part of the M3 development cycle, and M3 is still heavily 'under surgery'.
