Anyone have any luck getting this one to install? This is my go to amp sim and would really like to use it without the laptop on stage.
Thanks,
Terry

The forum isn't what it was I'm afraid, a lot of the big guns who used to post, no longer do so, either because they no longer have them, or because they just don't participate anymore. Try Muse support, it's always been very helpful to me in the past. I use mine as a piano module and that's it really.

Forgive me: but how can it be your 'go to' if you are unable to install it? Can you be more descriptive? It would help us to help you!thebonehead wrote:Anyone have any luck getting this one to install? This is my go to amp sim and would really like to use it without the laptop on stage.

I emailed the developer of ReValver about this post and received this reply:thebonehead wrote:Anyone have any luck getting this one to install? This is my go to amp sim and would really like to use it without the laptop on stage.

"We work very closely with Muse so we stumbled upon this a time or two...
The basic problem is that Receptor is running Wine/Linux, and that screws up the installation of the copy protection. I can see a workaround in the near future."
It seems like support for ReValver has recently picked up a bit at Peavey, so there's reason to believe "near future" means soon. Hope things work out for you!

Thanks for the replies. I should clarify that I am a guitar player using the muse as a guitar synth module.I have guitar rig installed but don't find it or any other software amp modeler that can be installed on the receptor up to par.Currently I am using the Fractal Audio Axe-Fx with the muse, but would like to leave it at home in the studio and get everything in the Receptor. By go to I mean That it is the only guitar amp simulator that I can get a real sound out of. So if I use it live at the moment I have to have on a laptop.
Thanks again, I will contact muse and peavey with the issue.

Just got this from Peavey:
Terry,
ReValver definitely works on the Receptor. Unfortunately, we cannot troubleshoot any issues you are having with Muse's hardware. You will need to contact the Muse support staff and they will assist you.
Regards,
Peavey Software Support
Now I am totally at a loss. I will try Muse again.
Anybody?

Just got this from Muse:
Peavey revalver MKlll is not released for Receptor, the first bug is that
it cannot be authorized. There are also a number other bugs that woud
prevent it from working properly. I will contact Peavey and clear the facts
up. It is a fantastic plugin and we are working on supprting it but I do
not have a release date at this time.

Guess someone from Peavey got it wrong. End of story for now I guess.
