FR: Audio input for Introjector

Hi Andy. Would it be possible? So you could record directly into it and then use introjector to resequence and mangle the audio? That way you could easily record from multiple sources, mangle and spit out new sounds. I don't know how much work it would be for you but i thought something like the wav recorder integrated into Introjector would be great so you could set the length of the recorded phrase etc unless you can pipe the audio input to the built in recorder. What do you think? A realtime looper/resequencer on steroids?


edit: Nvmnd about piping the audio in; of course you need to record the audio first. Would it be easy to integrate the wav recorder?

I read a couple of posts where you said Introjector is more of an addon for BM so i don't know if it would be worth your time and effort but i've seen a lot of requests for audio in in sampler type plugins. I'm not sure how useful it would be as Introjector is already great with loops but it would be cool to record synth lines that you could then resequence and it would be great if you could record stuff straight in from a workflow perspective. Arm, record, sequence. Rinse and repeat.

Anyway just an idea.

I've had a mess around, but there are some major problems in doing this, first of all I'm tied to Synthedit, and as far as I see it an FX plug can't have any midi, and I think using it as an FX would be the only feasible way of doing it for most hosts. On top of that, because it uses 8 samples it would need some serious restructuring as using audio in to record would just be a single WAV. To be honest I think it would have to be another plugin if I could get it working, I definitely can't justify the time right now, but I've made a note to look into it in the future, I do like the idea!

Hi Andy. No worries, can work around it it was just more of a workflow thing. Anyway glad you like the idea. If by some miracle i have anymore i'll post them here.
