First, thanks a super bunch for implementing Randomize on all the sequencers. Really, really love it. Regarding request, I can't remember if this is in there already but it would be nice to be able to choose what midi channel is being used both when sending an receiving.
(I'll remove this post if it's irrelevant).
Thanks.

Hello,
my 2cents:
- Indicate, on which modulation or pattern lane there is some data
- Sensitive mouse per default in pitch lane (or configurable)
- Maybe keyboard editing for pitches (<- -> keys, aWsEdf... for the actual notes, +- for a default velocity or muting)
- Sus chords; even better: a chord editor
- Intervals
- 2 loop buttons, so I can loop with different steps
- Jumper button, so I can jump backwards and forwards
- Slowdown faster, maybe also with a "release" for back-to-normal (probably difficult)
- Speed up
- Range for the random performances, full randomization is often unmusical
- Pitch bend mods with configurable CC
- More curve types; maybe nonperiodical ones like da-daa-daaa-daaaa (seen on Reason Malström)
- actually there could be an independent sequencer for this mod curves with longer rates
- Anti-aliasing for the modulation lanes and a multiplier
Regards

Thanks for asking
- +1 for CC tempo multiplier and smooth interpolation
- maybe an undo button (especially for the random and reset buttons)
- Would be nice to have a CC names library (could be just some text files in a folder) so the CC menu would show these specific names related to a specific synth.
- midi learn for the rand/mutate buttons

firstly thanks for the random functions.

just purchased

my requests
1/ now we need an undo !!

2/ an undo !!

3/ would be nice to have the lock feature work on pitch when randomising so that we can selectively randomise.
3b/ also in pitch restrict octave for randomimising basslines.
4/ likewise mute feature on velocity does not work on randomising...keep our selected mutes...randomise all others
5/ add lock to performance and modulation.
6/ finer divisions on modulation?
cheers
d

you could also use the global copy/paste function as an undo.
Just copy the sequence, try some variations and paste the original at any time.

a 'drum mode', with a more era like sequencer

just playing with the looper. this could be soooo powerfull if it could control different timings of the different areas.
by adding a steps change dial to each area you could then, at a zero setting, leave certain areas unaffected by the looper, and let others run for longer etc.
oh man i gotta go out for the day now...really wanna thrash this to pieces...

Have been using Eloquence all morning on my hardware. Great stuff!, but...
+1 for a chord editor
+1 for user-definaeable randomisation ranges
+1 for midi drag&drop
+1 for more ways to manipulate sequences in al time
Cheers!

1. Add a lane to set "swing" on a note-per-note basis (like the FL Studio step sequencer).Sugar Bytes wrote:Hi,

2. When randomizing volume, gate and modulation from the Performance lane, add the ability to set a min/max value. For example, if one sets this to 25 and the volume is set to 75, one would get a randomized value between 50 and 100, if volume is 100, the randomized value would be between 75 and 125, and so on.
3. Pattern sequencer: Add the ability to randomize which pattern to use.
4. Chord editor.

+1- On, "a drum mode."
I can't confirm on, "with a more era like," as I've never used Era.
But...
A drum mode would be HOT!

Great sequencer love it
as for improvements
1.user defineable chords or just sus2 and sus4 please
2.seperate clock divisions (also more options)for all the sections to go with individual lenght/run directions would be great
3.some control over the random functions as the results can be a little extreme

One idea would be the be able to drag down a horizontal line from the top of a sequencer as the maximum limit of the randomized value and the same goes for a line to push up from the bottom as the minimum limit of the randomized value.kontakt1968 wrote: 3.some control over the random functions as the results can be a little extreme
